To kick things off here, I have some teasers from Deity for you and a couple of giveaways!

One for Seth

Seth chuckled, and then his mouth was making its way to mine, and I opened for him.  the edges of his hair tickled my cheeks as the kiss deepened.  His fingers drifted down the front of my blouse and then they were sliding over the bare skin of my stomach.  I wrapped my leg around his, and were moving together on the bed.  His lips were dancing all over my flushed skin as his hands slid down, fingers finding the button on my jeans.

A second later, there was a knock on my door and a booming voice.  

"Alexandria?"

Seth stilled above me, panting.  "You have got to be freaking kidding me."

Leon knocked again.  "Alexandria, I know you're in there." (Page 28 of ACR)

One for Aiden

Aiden glanced down at me, smiling tightly.  "Do you how ancient warriors trained?  They used to fight Deimos and Phobos, who used the warriors' worst fears against them during battle."

"Thanks for the daily wird god history lesson, but--"

"But since the gods of Fear and Terror have been off the circuit for awhile, they created this chamber.  They believe that fighting using only your other senses to guide you is the best way to hone your skills and face your fears."

"Fears of what?"

He opened the door and a black hole greeted us.  "Whatever fears are holding you back."

I dug in my heels.  "I'm not afraid."

"You're terrified."

"Aiden, I am two seconds from--" My own surprised shriek cut me off as he hauled me into the chamber, shutting the door behind him, casting the room in utter darkness.  My breath froze in my throat.  

"Aiden...I can't see anything."

"That's the point."

"Well, thanks, Captain Obvious." I reached out blindly, but only felt air.  "What do you expect me to do in here?"  As soon as the question left my mouth, I was assaulted with totally inappropriate images of all the things we could do in here.

"We fight." (Page 61 of ARC)

Last night I was asking peeps on twitter about their favorite reads so far this year.  When they turned the tables and wanted mine., I was like....um too many to write in a twitter tweet.  I decided to go back to my 5 stars for the year and take a look.  There was a pretty good list of books I've really liked this year.  Here they are:

So these were the books on my mind when I sat down to choose my teaser this week.  I decided on Shift, because there's still this fabulous GIVEAWAY the author is doing.  So here's a tease from a scene I loved in Shift.  Little testosterone being thrown around. Haha

"That pup is part of our pack now.  It's our duty to train him, with, or without, your permission."

Love my boy Chase.  He's one tough demon hunter and he so doesn't like being pushed around.  Remind you of anyone????
