ABOUT SAY YOU STILL LOVE ME:
The bestselling author of The Simple Wild and Keep Her Safe and “master of steamy romance” (Kirkus Reviews) delivers a sizzling novel about an ambitious and high-powered executive who reconnects with her first love: the boy who broke her heart.
Life is a mixed bag for Piper Calloway.

On the one hand, she’s a twenty-nine-year-old VP at her dad’s multibillion-dollar real estate development firm, and living the high single life with her two best friends in a swanky downtown penthouse. On the other hand, she’s considered a pair of sexy legs in a male-dominated world and constantly has to prove her worth. Plus she’s stuck seeing her narcissistic ex-fiancé—a fellow VP—on the other side of her glass office wall every day.

Things get exponentially more complicated for Piper when she runs into Kyle Miller—the handsome new security guard at Calloway Group, and coincidentally the first love of her life.

The guy she hasn’t seen or heard from since they were summer camp counselors together. The guy from the wrong side of the tracks. The guy who apparently doesn’t even remember her name.

Piper may be a high-powered businesswoman now, but she soon realizes that her schoolgirl crush is still alive and strong, and crippling her concentration. What’s more, despite Kyle’s distant attitude, she’s convinced their reunion isn’t at all coincidental, and that his feelings for her still run deep. And she’s determined to make him admit to them, no matter the consequences.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
K.A. Tucker writes captivating stories with an edge. She is the bestselling author of the Ten Tiny Breaths and Burying Water series and the novels He Will Be My Ruin, Until It Fades, Keep Her Safe, and The Simple Wild. She currently resides in a quaint town outside Toronto with her husband and two beautiful girls.

I'm never disappointed by this author and this read is no exception.  This second chance romance packs so much more than a great story.  The characters are living, breathing friends.  The story is an elegant weaving of the past and the present.  And the ending packs an emotional punch.  It's classic K.A. Tucker at her finest.

I adore both Piper and Kyle.  They are so different and yet so perfect together.  Each have had struggles but in very different way.  They are real and I just want to meet up with them to have a drink and talk about old times.  My heart hurts for them and I cheer for them.  I just love them.

The chapters in this story switch back and forth between the past and the present.  Sixteen year old Piper at the summer camp where she was a counselor in one chapter and the next the very successful Ms. Calloway running a billion dollar business.  The silly Kyle betting Piper he could guess her lie in two truths and a lie in one chapter and the stoic Kyle at the security desk in the next.  I was amazed how things from the past just fit perfectly with what was happening in the present.  They were masterfully woven together to tell the story of two people who fell in love with each other at first sight.  And while they didn't see each other again after that long ago summer, they never forgot.  And they couldn't really be kept apart forever.  Such an amazing story.

As for the end, all I can say is that this author is really good at making me ugly cry.  She stitches me back together but I always seem to fall apart when reading her books.  She writes more than a romance book, it's an emotional slice of life with a sexy guy and lots of real.  And, of course, a happy at the end.

Don't wait.  This one is so good.  Pick it up and read it now.

The Simple Wild by K. A. Tucker ~ Review

Calla Fletcher wasn't even two when her mother took her and fled the Alaskan wild, unable to handle the isolation of the extreme, rural lifestyle, leaving behind Calla’s father, Wren Fletcher, in the process. Calla never looked back, and at twenty-six, a busy life in Toronto is all she knows. But when Calla learns that Wren’s days may be numbered, she knows that it’s time to make the long trip back to the remote frontier town where she was born.

She braves the roaming wildlife, the odd daylight hours, the exorbitant prices, and even the occasional—dear God—outhouse, all for the chance to connect with her father: a man who, despite his many faults, she can’t help but care for. While she struggles to adjust to this rugged environment, Jonah—the unkempt, obnoxious, and proud Alaskan pilot who helps keep her father’s charter plane company operational—can’t imagine calling anywhere else home. And he’s clearly waiting with one hand on the throttle to fly this city girl back to where she belongs, convinced that she’s too pampered to handle the wild.

Jonah is probably right, but Calla is determined to prove him wrong. Soon, she finds herself forming an unexpected bond with the burly pilot. As his undercurrent of disapproval dwindles, it’s replaced by friendship—or perhaps something deeper? But Calla is not in Alaska to stay and Jonah will never leave. It would be foolish of her to kindle a romance, to take the same path her parents tried—and failed at—years ago. It’s a simple truth that turns out to be not so simple after all.

This author.  She has a way of weaving a story so packed with emotions and real life that I find real tears streaming down my face.  And this one is no different.

I went in blind, having no idea what this book was about.  I just saw the authors name and knew it would need to be devoured.  The prologue was hard.  I almost  wasn't sure I could face it.  But this is not a simple story.  And it's one that's hard to put down once you start.

The characters are perfection.  Calla is her mothers daughter but she's more.  She may arrive in Alaska being more of her mom than anything else, she grows while she's there.  I love how she's strong yet genuine.  Sometimes authors try to make women strong by making them mean with a capital B.  But Calla is genuinely strong.  She isn't sure how do deal with her father.  Real.  And relying on the words of her Simon, her step father, she finds a way to get to know him.  Brave.  And her banter with Jonah is amazing.  She reacts to his bitter resentment of her and yet they become friends.  It felt so real.  I was just so satisfied. with her.

Jonah is not Wren.  But he does have Alaska running through his veins.  He cares for Wren and he respects him.  He's not going to let this city girl push him around or push Wren away.  He was strong and protective in a very masculine way yet he didn't disrespect Calla.  And when he was wrong, he admitted it.  Their relationship went from irritation and misunderstanding to friendship and respect.  He did get the last ha though.  Just his way, the dang Yeti.

The romance is always key for me.  This story isn't slow burn.  It isn't in your face romance.  It's real life.  It's trying to figure out how you fit or if you fit.  It's experiencing things together and learning about each other.  It's not being picked up in a bar or stolen glaces.  It's about being there for each other.  Teasing each other.  Learning you can't live without the other.  Understanding each other and doing what's right for each other.

I thoroughly loved this story.  I laughed.  I cried.  I couldn't stop reading it.  I didn't want it to end.  I needed to know the end.  I loved every moment.

If you've never read K.A. Tucker, hold on for one emotional read that will pull your heart through the wringer and help you see choices that aren't there.  It's a great choice for anyone who loves a good story.

UNTIL IT FADES by K.A. Tucker

Atria eBook | ISBN: 9781501133398 | On sale: June 27, 2017 | 368 pages | $7.99

ABOUT UNTIL IT FADES:

Twenty-four-year-old truck stop waitress and single mother Catherine Wright has simple goals: to give her five-year-old daughter a happy life and to never again be the talk of the town in Balsam, Pennsylvania (population three thousand outside of tourist season).

And then one foggy night, on a lonely road back from another failed date, Catherine saves a man’s life. It isn’t until after the police have arrived that Catherine realizes exactly who it is she has rescued: Brett Madden, hockey icon and media darling.

Catherine has already had her fifteen minutes of fame and the last thing she wants is to have her past dragged back into the spotlight, only this time on a national stage. So she hides her identity. It works. For a time.

But when she finds the man she saved standing on her doorstep, desperate to thank her, all that changes. There’s an immediate connection, and it’s more electric than the bond of two people who endured a traumatic event. It’s something neither of them expected. Something that Catherine isn’t sure she can handle; something she is afraid to trust.

Because how long can an extraordinary man like Brett be interested in an ordinary woman like Catherine...before the spark fades?

ORDER:

I adore this story.  I adore these characters.  It's a slow burn that I devoured!

This author has an amazing ability to craft a story where the reader can happily stay forever.  It's a combination of these very real characters that I just want to be friends with and their story that has depth and surprises.

I was so cheering for these characters.  From meeting Cath, I was cheering for her.  I wanted to kick a certain teacher in the backside and then clean house from her high school principal to her mother.  She had a hard road through high school.  But she didn't cry over it for long, she got up and dusted herself off and made a life.  She didn't complain that she had to work hard or that she didn't have a lot.  She did what needed to be done.  I really like her.  I liked how she raised her daughter.  I like how she protected her daughter.  And I love how she did a really hard thing to save a man she didn't even know.  She's good people and I'd love to be friends with her.

As for Brett, he's perfect.  A sexy hockey player that's completely smitten by the women who saved him.  He's generous, kind and loves to tease Cath.  He respects her space and her choices.  He's everything that Cath deserves even if she doesn't see that.  I cheered for them to make it.

Add to these amazing characters a story that's just worthy of being read over and over again and you have a book that needs to be devoured.

And surprised.  There was a major surprise.  One I didn't even come close to seeing.  Love it when an author can do that to me.

This book needs to be moved to the top of your TBR list and be devoured as soon as you can.  So good.  Enjoyed every last page.

Chasing River (Burying Water, #3)
Chasing River (Burying Water #3) by K.A. Tucker

Armed with two years' worth of savings and the need to experience life outside the bubble of her Oregon small town, twenty-five-year old Amber Welles is prepared for anything. Except dying in Dublin. Had it not been for the bravery of a stranger, she might have. But he takes off before she has the chance to offer her gratitude.

Twenty-four-year-old River Delaney is rattled. No one was supposed to get hurt. But then that American tourist showed up. He couldn't let her die, but he also couldn't risk being identified at the scene—so, he ran. Back to his everyday life of running his family’s pub. Only, everyday life is getting more and more complicated, thanks to his brother, Aengus, and his criminal associations. When the American girl tracks River down, he quickly realizes how much he likes her, how wrong she is for him. And how dangerous it is to have her around. Chasing her off would be the smart move.

Maybe it's because he saved her life, or maybe it's because he's completely different from everything she's left behind, but Amber finds herself chasing after River Delaney. Amber isn’t the kind of girl to chase after anyone.

And River isn't the kind of guy she'd want to catch.

Cover Reveal ~ One Tiny Lie by K. A. Tucker

 Available June 11, 2013

ABOUT ONE TINY LIE:
Livie has always been the stable one of the two Cleary sisters, handling her parents' tragic death and Kacey's self-destructive phase with strength and maturity. But underneath that exterior is a little girl hanging onto the last words her father ever spoke to her. “Make me proud,” he had said. She promised she would...and she’s done her best over the past seven years with every choice, with every word, with every action.

Livie walks into Princeton with a solid plan, and she’s dead set on delivering on it: Rock her classes, set herself up for medical school, and meet a good, respectable guy that she’s going to someday marry. What isn’t part of her plan are Jell-O shots, a lovable, party animal roommate she can’t say ‘no’ to, and Ashton, the gorgeous captain of the men’s rowing team. Definitely him. He’s an arrogant ass who makes Livie’s usually non-existent temper flare and everything she doesn’t want in a guy. Worse, he’s best friends and roommates with Connor, who happens to fits Livie’s criteria perfectly. So why does she keep thinking about Ashton?

As Livie finds herself facing mediocre grades, career aspirations she no longer thinks she can handle, and feelings for Ashton that she shouldn’t have, she’s forced to let go of her last promise to her father and, with it, the only identity that she knows.
