This book is a fast, fun and sexy read! I picked it up and read it straight through to the end.
I enjoyed the alternating points of view. Of course, I loved Pax's POV the most because...well he's Pax. Both characters are strong and well rounded. Both are enjoyable and I definitely cheered for them. They tried to resist each other but that didn't go so well. They tried to spend more time and get to know each other better but really these two were gone from that first wild night.
The story is definitely Hollywood, a world that has it's own rules. It's glamours and cruel. And there are definitely advantage and disadvantages to being part of it. There were both in this story. That may have contributed to how fast they two fell. A tad too fast for my taste but fun none the less. I really liked the outcome and the threat to their happiness.
So most romance books have this moment where one of them messes up and the whole thing goes to ruin. Pleading and groveling come next. But this book had a different idea. A different way to bring them to the edge of happy and fall short. I liked it. It made me happy. And I smiled through because I knew both of their hearts. Well played.
There is a character...who shall not be named (too spoilery) who I disliked from the very first moment we meet. Smart on my part. I will refrain from stating what I would have liked to do to said character. Just know to be on the lookout for the nasty, jealous twit.
If you've ever crushed on a movie star, this is a perfect read. If you just need to sit on the beach and bask in the glow of the sun and book, this is a perfect read. If you just love quick romance and have a few hours to get stuck in one, this is a perfect read. Take a chance on this one, it's good.
