First up is Daemon Black from Obsidian
Personality – Daemon comes off a bit moody at first…ok a lot moody until you get through his walls protecting his family. Here’s some moodiness:
“Both eyebrows were raised to his hairline now as if he were questioning how I could be so dumb, and that’s when I realized what I saw sparkling in his eyes. He was laughing at me with a healthy dose of condescension.” Page 7
From his sister – “He was having a bad day. He’s worse than a girl, trust me. He doesn’t hate you. We’re twins. Even I want to kill him on days that end with a Y. Anyway, Daemon’s kind of rough around the edges. He doesn’t get along with…people.” Page 11
“He smirked as he watched me. ‘I don’t like that you’re friends with my sister.’” Page 29
“’I’m only going to tell you this once. If anything happens to my sister, so help me—‘ He stopped taking a deep breath as his gaze dropped to my parted lips. My breath caught. Something flickered in his eyes, but they narrowed again, hiding whatever had been there.” Page 30
Quite the charmer, isn’t he?
Looks – “…I was staring at a very broad, tan, well-muscled chest. A naked chest… Jeans hung low on his hips, revealing a thin line of dark hair that formed below his navel and disappeared under the band of the jeans. His stomach was ripped. Perfect. Totally touchable. …traveling north…thick sooty lashes fanning the tips of his high cheeks and hiding the color of his eyes….Full kissable lips…His lashes lifted, revealing eyes so green and brilliant they couldn’t be real. They were an intense emerald color that stood out in vibrant contrast against his tan skin…the boy lifted an arm, brushing back a wavy lock of hair on his forehead.” Page 11-12
Yeah, I think that about says it all.
What makes him better than Aiden- Passion! Daemon is very passionate about his family, about Katy. He also breaks a few rules to protect them. Such a bad boy he is.

Next up, Aiden St. Delphi from Half-Blood.
Personality- Aiden’s kind of the dark quiet type, very responsible, very honorable, very badass. Here are a few peeks at his personality.

“In front of me, he walked through the flames, looking every bit like a daimon hunter should. The fire did not singe his pants nor dirty his shirt. Not a single dark hair was touched by the blaze. Those cool, storm-cloud-colored eyes fixed on me.” Page 4
“He wore all black – the uniform Sentinels wore.” Page 6
“There wasn’t an inch of space between us. I could feel the hard ripple of his abdominal muscles pressing against my stomach, could feel his lips only inches from mine. Suddenly I entertained a wild idea. I wondered if his lips felt as good as they looked… because they looked awesome.” Page 8
“Aiden’s dark brown waves continually fell over his forehead, brushing against equally dark brows. The lines of his face were nearly perfect, the curve of his jaw strong, and he had the most expressive lips I’d ever seen. But it was those thundercloud eyes I found beautiful. No one had those eyes." Page 18
"The grin increased to a full smile. And...oh, man. He had dimples." Page 82

The fact that he’s not Daemon should be enough! But Aiden is sexy hot in a very different way. Badass yet kind makes him the better choice.
